Senate Confirms Mendez, Rogoff
The Senate voted July 24 to confirm the nominations of Victor Mendez to be deputy secretary of transportation and Peter Rogoff to be under secretary of transportation for policy, both by voice vote.
Both Mendez, previously FHWA administrator, and Rogoff, formerly FTA administrator, had been serving in those posts in an acting capacity.
