Looking Forward at APTA's Bus & Paratransit Conference
More than 1,800 bus and paratransit industry professionals and more than 130 vendors participated in the 2018 APTA Bus & Paratransit Conference and International Bus Roadeo in Tampa, FL, May 6-9.
Conference participants attended four General Sessions that brought together FTA officials, transportation theorist Gabe Klein, experts in the use of Big Data to improve public transit operations and agency executives sharing their experiences with building and maintaining ridership.
The four-day schedule also offered numerous educational sessions, the Bus Safety and Security Awards, the Bus Display and the Bus and Paratransit Products and Services Showcase. Coverage begins below and continues throughout this issue.
