Webinar: Changes to FTA Section 106 Reviews of Transit Projects in Rail Right-of-Way
FTA will host a webinar 2-3:30 p.m. ET Thurs. Oct. 25 on the recently issued “Program Comment Exempting the Effects of Transportation Projects in Rail Right-of-Way (ROW).” The Program Comment provides approaches that will expedite Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act for projects located within the rail ROW.
The webinar will feature a presentation from Sharyn LaCombe, an environmental protection specialist and federal historic preservation officer in FTA’s Office of Planning & Environment.
