Industry Leaders to Delve Into Defining Public Transportation Issues

Nov. 27-30 is APTA’s Industry Leadership Week, with a series of events in Washington, DC, that will bring together public transportation and associated leaders to discuss and address the issues and trends transforming public transit and the community.

The cornerstone of the week’s activities is the Industry Leadership Summit, where public transit agency leaders, board members and business executives will examine the most critical opportunities and priorities facing public transportation. Summit discussion topics will include disruptive market forces, shifting customer expectations and preferences, the evolving mobility landscape, technology, the midterm elections and more.

Keynote speakers include David Zipper, fellow, Urban and Regional Policy Program, The German Marshall Fund of the United States, and Stuart Rothenberg, Ph.D., political analyst and senior editor, Inside Elections with Nathan L. Gonzales.
