APTA's Gore in Top 3 Meeting Pros

Lenay Gore, APTA senior director-meetings and tradeshows, was named one of three national finalists for the Professional Convention Management Association’s (PCMA) Meeting Professional of the Year honor during the recent PCMA Convening Leaders annual meeting in Vancouver, BC.

The Visionary Award honors PCMA professional members who exemplify professional excellence in their contributions to their organization, PCMA and the business events community.

“Every one of us who has worked or attended an APTA conference with Lenay knows firsthand her commitment to excellence,” said KellyAnne Gallagher, APTA assistant vice president-member programs and services. “As a result, our members have continuously experienced and have come to expect a superior event from APTA. And her APTA colleagues have benefited from her care and attention to detail. With each conference or seminar, Lenay and her team introduce innovations and maximize value from our hotel contracts.”

PCMA has more than 6,500 members. The winner of the award will be announced at an April 27 gala event in Washington, DC.
